Marion Ravn and Marit Larsen both met when they were five years old in the country of Norway. They have been best friends since then. Both of them started appearing in Musicals like the Wizard of Oz and Annie.
But they wanted to do something different so they started singing songs for kids. Soon after that they wanted to make a pop album so they started learning how to play the guitar and the piano. After learning all these skills the two best friends made their debut album Shades of Purple.
